In a world of large bank owned and "quasi-boutique" brokerages there is a need for a small firm with the highest levels of professionalism, integrity and senior-level attention to clients. We aim to differentiate ourselves by focusing on a select few projects that will give our constituents a greater chance of success. Our small size enables us to be extremely particular in selecting the companies that we choose to sponsor. Max Capital is not a volume driven broker dealer.

We believe our business model fills a void in the Canadian capital markets. Micro-Cap companies (which we define as companies with under $100 million in market capitalization) have been largely ignored by institutions. We believe many of these companies can gain greater investor acceptance through our sponsorship and capital markets guidance.

Max Capital aims to find and develop a capital markets strategy for the most compelling early stage stories in Canada. Once a strategy is in place, we assist our clients in partnering with institutions that have the foresight to view this as an asset class that has been under explored and which offers an opportunity to significantly enhance portfolio returns.
